Green Enchiladas Beef Cream of Chicken American Cheese Green Onion Dip Mix
02/21/2014
This recipe already has enough of reviews but just want to add a few things. I didn't have tortillas so substituted Tostitos and and so used less salt. I used regular cream of craven.and added lots of chopped cilantro. I used a can of diced tomatoes w/ gr chilies plus the can of chopped green chilies both undrained and so omitted the chicken broth. It wasn't dry out at all and certainly not bland. My husband couldn't get plenty of it. Even after I put away the leftovers I caught him in the fridge with a spoon getting "just ane more bite".
02/06/2014
My husband and I loved it. I used more chicken and would cut back on the tortillias so they dont overlap. Volition make this one over and over!
11/twenty/2013
Made exactly equally written and information technology was pretty practiced. Side by side time I would use fewer tortillas and brand more sauce as it was a little dry. On second night to "fix upward" the leftovers, I mixed half a tin can of Rotel, 2 tbs. tomato paste and near one 1/ii cups of one-half and half in sauce pan. Then poured information technology all over the remaining casserole and put back in 325 oven for 20 minutes and information technology was a huge improvement. Yum!
11/06/2013
Solid weeknight casserole. Tastes like something my mother used to make. I just used about half of the tortillas and it still turned out fine.
09/xv/2013
OMG...This was Great. Husband loved it and went for seconds. I am 42 and just started cooking and this recipe was very uncomplicated
08/08/2013
I doubled this for a crowd, and information technology was a striking. I don't recall I'd put this on the menu for a fancy dinner, but information technology's a smashing oversupply pleaser. I didn't make whatever changes other than using a little more garlic, and a smidge more salt.
07/01/2013
First-class recipe with a few pocket-sized tweaks. I sauteed the onion and garlic in a little fleck of olive oil. I institute that I could get away with merely five tortillas per layer if you cut them in half and position the flat edges against the edges of the goulash dish. Also, 1 cup of shredded craven is not enough per layer. I probably used shut to two cups per layer and if you lot do not drain the light-green chiles, it will be soggy. The improve half, who can be pretty picky, loved it. Leftovers were gone the side by side twenty-four hours. I may attempt to spice information technology up more side by side time.
05/30/2013
Then many great reviews?? Fashion too many tortillas and not enough filling. I know the quantity of tortillas are to blot the liquid but they should call this Corn Tortilla Goulash. To make it more stars IMHO, eliminate the broth, halve the tortillas, up the amount of craven and cheese (yes, the calories go up) and add drained Rotel, drained blackness beans, maybe corn, cilantro... More cumin, maybe some chili powder. Likewise, it took 45 minutes in the oven to get it bubbly so I let it sit down for 15 minutes so it wasn't so runny-yep runny, and yes, I followed the recipe.
03/28/2013
I have made this many times and it is superb. I have to concord with others if it was soupy or not expert you may have done something wrong.
03/03/2013
In New United mexican states, this is served with either ruby republic of chile sauce (not the aforementioned matter equally salsa--much hotter) or salsa verde (fabricated with Hatch chilies, tomatillos, and cilantro). Recipes for those were included in the same upshot of Cooking Light as this dark-green chile chicken casserole recipe, equally was a recipe for posole.
02/23/2013
Never thought I'd give 5 stars to a casserole recipe, much less one that calls for canned soup, but this was fantastic! Made a few changes...sauteed chicken strips in EVOO, removed from the pan then sauteed the onions and garlic for a minute or two. Added all the soup mixture to the same pan along with juice from the chicken. Increased cheese to three cups and cumin to 1 tsp. Hubby had thirds! Served leftovers with green salsa and sour cream. Truly scrumptious!
01/28/2013
Great recipe. The but change I fabricated was to only use 18 tortillas (or three rows) and peak it with the remaining chicken, cheese, and sauce. My family loved it! They even asked me to brand it again. Definitely a keeper.
xi/14/2012
Love this recipe! I add chicken (great with leftover turkey too)to the mix so layer with cheese, I apply my Pueblo chile's from Pueblo Colorado, even amend the next day when the layers have settled! delish:)
10/ten/2012
I made this for my family of 8 and I'm telling yous... they LOVED IT!! Like others, I modified the recipe to our taste-buds, of course, and information technology turned out DELICIOUS!! I, agree with "kristymos", this "rating" organization isn't working out well due to the "3's" being used when they say "Will definitetly brand over again! Good, solid recipe". I absolutely will make this again and practice exactly similar I did terminal fourth dimension, (like MMSPARKCITY) which was this:: Added a can of Black Beans, fresh chopped cilantro, served with Spanish Rice and all the Mexican trimmings on the side. Talk about a Mexican Banquet! Mine GOBBLED IT Upwardly! :) LOVE LOVE LOVE this recipe! Also, I think I will attempt this aforementioned recipe with pulled pork! Thank y'all myrecipes.com! You're the all-time!
09/26/2012
I made a one-half recipe (in an 8-inch foursquare dish), which made enough for myself and my married man with leftovers for the next solar day. Very yummy and pretty simple to brand...I took the advice of some of the comments here and cooked the onions and spices (in a piffling margarine) before adding the soup/sour cream, and added a bit of crushed pepper. Will definitetly make again!
08/10/2012
Made for a piddling party of viii, a swell base of operations and fabricated information technology in a festive red baking dish. I did add together a bit of red pepper to the sauce and added seasoned black beans with fresh chopped cilantro in the layers. A overnice addition, plus gave it some color. Served with avocados, diced jalapenos, salsa and additional sour cream on the side and castilian rice.
08/08/2012
Concur with another reviewer: while not spectacular, this is a good, "solid" dinner recipe. :) Made a couple of modifications: I sauteed the onions, cumin, salt, pepper, and garlic in a little oil for about x minutes starting time to soften the onions before adding the other 'soup' ingredients. Based on other reviews, I also added a tsp or so of cayenne pepper and doubled the cumin. (Gustatory modality the 'soup' mixture earlier assembling. If it tastes bland, add together some spices!) Lastly, I cut the tortillas into quarters to get a more even distribution. I was only able to make 3 layers rather than the four called for by the recipe, just the results were notwithstanding tasty. I volition make this once again.
07/30/2012
I detest this rating schedule because this isn't necessarily worthy of a special occasion, but is definitely a very solid and wonderful weeknight dinner. I don't give iii's because I never make the recipes rated 3s! The chiles are balmy plenty to keep it kid friendly. The tortillas sop upwards the sauce wonderfully. We gobbled this up. Will definitely brand this again!
05/03/2012
For those of yous that like spice, effort adding 1 or two chipotle chiles in adobo sauce. Whenever I have some left from some other recipes, I will mince them upwards and add them in when I am making the sauce. I also sometimes double the green chiles.
04/14/2012
The sauce is great, earlier information technology was baked. I found the flavor to be overly bland later on it had baked. While making, I thought about turning the sauce into a soup, adding the chicken and leave out the tortillas completely. I retrieve I'll practise that next fourth dimension.
02/20/2012
This needed more spices for us - was a little bland, but has nifty potential.
02/09/2012
I make this with flour tortillas, add slivered almonds, and put diced tomatoes on meridian. I serve information technology with broccoli for a consummate meal. This version is easier than the "roll-upwards" enchilada recipe.
01/29/2012
For those of you that gave it bad reviews, you probably made information technology wrong. Go dorsum to taco bell.
01/21/2012
This volition certainly exist a recipe that is noted as a FAVORITE in our recipe box! YUMMY! Attempt information technology - you won't exist disappointed! Substituted one-half the green chilies with jalapeños and information technology added only the correct corporeality of "estrus".
01/10/2012
We've made this many times exactly to recipe and been completely satisfied with the results. Last night we minced one large chipotle chile and doubled the garlic for the soup mixture. Also added virtually 1/2c crude-chopped cilantro to the shredded chicken. The finished dish was still fairly mild in flavour, but had a bit more going on.
01/04/2012
Adept recipe and very easy to put together. I've fabricated it twice and don't use all the tortillas - I usually have half dozen of them left over. Also, one pound of craven is not enough so adjacent time I will probably employ 1.5 to 2 pounds of shredded chicken. Deadening on its own so nosotros similar to add chopped tomatoes, lettuce, chopped olives, chives, and sour cream to add color and life to it!
12/02/2011
Worked great for leftover turkey and can feed a crowd of firm guests!
11/27/2011
Fantastic! A savory dish!
xi/20/2011
I added a handful of cilantro and a can of rotel. It was bully.
11/08/2011
Well, it looks bland, but it tastes FINE. I made my own cream-of-----, added drained, canned black beans, some frozen corn, some diced red bong peppers, more green chilis. You tin can actually play with this recipe. I enjoyed reading all the other reviews and loved the idea of mexican pot-pie! I used the hand-made style small flour tortillas (from Costco). Yum. I froze half this recipe in serving-size portions. Thawed fine and reheated in mirco-wave. We were surprised how much we enjoyed this 1. Sometimes a basin full of hot good is plenty practiced enough. With some sour foam, avocado and fresh tomatoes on top. A splurge!
10/19/2011
Actually excellent. My husband liked information technology & he doesn't exercise Mexican. Not a fleck soupy. I did use low sodium craven broth, regular cream of chicken soup, added a can of mild Rotel tomatoes, fresh cilantro & rottiserie chicken. Doubled the receipe making ii casseroles & gave one to my son & his family for their dinner. Side by side time, I volition add together a can of black beans to see if we like that. A definite keeper!!!
09/08/2011
LOVED It!!!
08/26/2011
Subsequently reading some of the reviews of this recipe, I decided to add a can of corn (Del Monte Summer Crisp is the best, in my stance), a tin can of black beans, and a red bell pepper. Oh, and nearly a ane/two tsp. of hot sauce (Tapatio, I believe). I probably could've added at least a full tsp. or more of the hot sauce. It was delicious! I'grand glad I added what I did, though, it really made the dish. Also, I used low-cal, not fat free sour cream (just couldn't do it), just I did use the 98% fat complimentary condensed soup. I recommend information technology for sure! My partner and I scarfed it down -- and the leftovers were but as yummy!
08/22/2011
A delicious dish. Made every bit described but only used two cups of chicken. The entire family unit loved it, and it's a new favorite.
07/03/2011
Awesome dinner! Cheesy, craven-y, and a petty crunchy on elevation....REALLY good. Definitely a family favorite!
06/09/2011
It'S Smashing! I've never made a dish with cream of anything and was prepared to exist all bossy nigh this 'tasting like information technology came out of a can'. I used Healthy Asking foam of chicken and a lemon pepper rotisserie chicken and served information technology with a beer and a small salad. I will make it over again and will add together corn, blood-red bong peppers and cilantro if I have time.
05/27/2011
Like greenish enchiladas, but easier! This was wonderful! I but need to find a manner to scale the recipe downward, since at that place is only two of us in my habitation.
05/12/2011
Oh my gosh is this dish ever a WINNER! I altered a little in that I sauteed the onions and garlic for a couple of minutes first earlier adding the other ingredients. I too only used ii sm. cans of chopped chiles. Breakstones sour cream has come out with flavored sour cream. I had recently purchased the chipolte and male child is it ever outstanding. I also had a container of the new Philly 'Santa Fe' cooking foam cheese that I added.. There is no dubiousness this recipe is a 10 out of a 10, makes a ton, is addictive and any mexican eating place would be priviledged to serve this. This dish comes together easily and is thick and creamy too. I made in the a.m., stuck it in the fridge for supper and took it out about thirty minutes before I stuck in the oven. Awesome!
05/06/2011
Like some of the other reviews said, this dish tasted like mildly flavored craven soup. If I make this again, I will add together salsa to the soup mixture.
04/17/2011
1 of our favorite casseroles! I substitute black beans, corn, and tomatoes for half of the chicken. I likewise like to add a little adobo seasoning with the cumin.
04/16/2011
This was pretty good, although I wish information technology had some sort of kick to it. Not certain if I'll go far once again.
03/16/2011
I can't believe this is a Cooking Light recipe. It was bland and had no nutritional value-the entire dish was shades of brown. Add some cilantro, olives, bong peppers, lots of spices and y'all might accept something worth trying, only as it stands this recipe is not good.
02/18/2011
Quick and fast--my family loves information technology. I recommend swapping cream of chicken for cream of mushroom if yous don't similar a strong chicken-y flavor.
02/17/2011
This is really a crowd-pleaser! Reheats well. It's and then tasty its difficult to believe that information technology's so waistline friendly. This joins our regular rotation.
02/04/2011
I made this for the first time this night. Like lots of other reviewers I fabricated a few modifications. I used reduced fat sour cream & depression fat cream of craven soup (not fat free). I doubled the amount of garlic & cumin & sauteed the garlic & onion in some cooking spray before calculation to the sauce. I also added a large handful of minced cilantro to the sauce forth with a teaspoon of green new mexican chile pulverisation for a lilliputian heat & actress flavor. Served it with a spinach & avocado salad. I'll definitely make this one over again.
01/31/2011
This was delicious. Whole family loved it (including ii picky kids). Used fresh roasted chilis and chopped cooked turkey breast. Also sauteed onions in cooking spray before adding to sauce. Will definitely add to my rotation!
01/29/2011
I will make this again. I used a smaller green chili tin (only ane I could find easily at Target) and believe I could have used more chilis for some kick. It makes a LOT. There were two of us and I certainly should have split the recipe. Good go-to recipe, though. Side by side fourth dimension i may try rotel...
01/28/2011
Tried it and was disappointed, banal with an unpleasant texture and probably not very good for you either. Might have been improve with some vegetables instead of and then much cream.
01/23/2011
This recipe has amazing flavor. My husband and I loved it and volition be making it oft.
12/12/2010
One of the best make-ahead dishes. This is my "go to" dish when I need to make a dinner for another family. I double the recipe...give 1 away and serve the other to my family unit. I employ fewer chiles to make information technology more balmy for younger mouths. I serve this with a vegie and chips and salsa.
12/05/2010
Admittedly delicious. Make sure you use all the tortillas in the recipe otherwise gets too soupy.
11/21/2010
I tried this recipe and halved the ingriedents and only used about four viii" tortillas (wraps we call them hither in Republic of ireland). I could not notice tinned chillies so I used three fresh green chillies and chopped them finely. The whole matter was a great success and I will definitely cook this meal again.
11/17/2010
It's a keeper!
11/09/2010
My family LOVED this recipe! The just thing I did dissimilar is melt the chopped onion, roasted cumin, salt and pepper until about caramelized then added the garlic for three minutes. Then nosotros added all the other ingredients. Exercise not apply any other cheese other than abrupt cheddar. We made two versions and the sharp cheddar was the Hit. (Also use a minor can of green balmy chilies - it was a perfect residue.)
x/22/2010
This is a fantastic recipe that my family unit never gets tired of. I practise brand a few changes...add 2 cans of Ro-Tel (drained), i can black beans (drained and rinsed), ane purse frozen corn and four cloves of garlic instead of 1. These additions give it a tasty, healhy dose of veggies. I would definitely recommend this recipe. Also, it freezes very well. When I brand it, I typically make a triple recipe and freeze the leftovers for a decorated twenty-four hour period, and it comes out perfect every time!!
10/twenty/2010
I made this last calendar week and it was quite good. I did add black beans and diced tomatoes (rotel) to the casserole just to add together a scrap more flavor. I served it with seasoned blackness beans, fries & salsa. Would definitely make once again - though adjacent time I remember I'll double the amount of greenish chiles
ten/15/2010
I modified things a bit hither. I added tobasco sauce to the soup mixture and used Trader Joe's Lime Chili Pre-Prepared Chicken. These couple of things added a nice kick to the dish.
ten/12/2010
If y'all want to brand it less "bland" mix equal parts pace picante and soup and make recipe as directed,,,yumm
09/26/2010
Crawly dish! full of flavor!!
09/12/2010
I thought the recipe was quite bland and needed something else. peradventure some hatch chile peppers or other vegetables. The cream of soup base stood out and should have been more mold. Basically, the sauce that composes the dish tasted pretty much like cumin and foam of craven soup to me.
09/11/2010
This was a very comforting, succulent and easy casserole to make. We topped with green onions, sour foam and salsa verde - delicious!
08/04/2010
I accept made a number of Cooking Light recipes from this site and this one is past far my favorite. It was easy to make and really, really succulent.
07/27/2010
A friend of mine directed me to this recipe a while ago and I just tried it for dinner tonight. Super easy and so succulent! I was really surprised. So much flavour! The just matter I changed was Monterey Jack cheese for the cheddar.
07/23/2010
My family loves information technology served with toppings of sour cream, salsa and dark-green onions. I also accept information technology to potluck suppers.
06/21/2010
Absolutly a fabulous goulash. This 1 is a keeper. The season was fantastic and we inverse the chilis to jalepenos gave information technology dandy kick
06/19/2010
Nosotros thought this was just okay. Had a pretty bland flavor.
06/05/2010
This was And so delicious and And then like shooting fish in a barrel to ready. I bought an already prepared rotisserie chicken from my local grocery store and shredded it. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed this meal. It was smashing leftover also!
05/09/2010
I used roasted chilis vs. canned and loved information technology!!!!
04/07/2010
Loved the dish! I will definitely exist making this again.
03/27/2010
the best : Light-green Chile-Chicken Casserole I have tested every one in my family unit loved it
03/24/2010
My husband and I but fabricated this dish this night and loved it! He went back for seconds, besides. He says it tastes like chicken enchiladas. The recipe was easy to follow and will definately make it over again.
03/21/2010
We make (and eat) a lot of Tex Mex dishes in my family. This New Mexico-inspired dish ended up replacing a recipe that I had in my recipe book for years. Great flavors and super moist. Even my discerning husband loved it!
03/eleven/2010
First-class dish. Reminds me a lot of Rex Ranch Chicken. Good luck sticking to the recommended serving size to limit your calories. I probably ate twice as much I was supposed to in each sitting. Reheats beautifully; will certainly brand again.
02/22/2010
A hitting with my picky crew! I had to make a last infinitesimal substitution because my sour cream was confiscated for a Home Economics course. I used foam cheese instead, which made a very creamy sauce. And for the cheese I used a low fatty Cheddar-Monterrey Jack mix. Served it with salsa on the side. We will definitely make this 1 over again.
02/07/2010
Commencement of all, I don't like the rating catergories. This IS worthy of a special occasion AND information technology is outstanding, too! In reading the other reviews, I retrieve the problem some take complained of with regard to this getting goopy, is using the fatty gratuitous cream of chicken soup. I used the regular foam of chicken soup. I as well used medium cheddar cheese. I served this dish with tortilla fries and guacamole and a greenish salad. I recommend salsa on the side also. Everyone in my family unit RAVED near this recipe, and I cook for VERY picky boys. Two thumbs up for this recipe.
01/20/2010
We loved this recipe. Will definately make it again and again.
01/10/2010
After reading the reviews, I was very careful about measuring the liquid. I even tuckered the green chilis as directed, when normally I probably wouldn't have bothered. I idea it turned out the correct consistency - the soup mixture was pretty thick before I fifty-fifty started layering. To be honest, I was a little dislocated when it came to layering - I re-read and realized you lot continue to layer until you've used all 24 tortillas: soup mixture, tortillas, chicken and cheese - 4X. While layering, I thought it didn't look similar enough chicken per layer, simply once information technology was cooked, and yous dip downward thru all the layers, it's the perfect corporeality. The only thing I changed most the recipe is I used 1 can cream of chicken-mushroom soup and one can cheddar cheese soup (undiluted, per instructions) instead of 2 cans cream of mushroom. But all proportions were the same. I cooked 2 one/2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts in 1 tin can chicken goop, took out the craven when it was washed, then added the soup mixture ingredients to that same pot to save on clean-upwards. The verdict...my family unit LOVED it! It wasn't soupy at all, and even though my family eats spicy foods, we did not recall it was bland at all. But I recollect the Cheddar cheese soup spiced information technology up a lilliputian. Also, the green chilies I used were medium hot. This dish was pretty quick and unproblematic. This would be a good dish for a potluck. I will definitely be making it again for my family unit soon.
01/07/2010
The was wonderful. It was a piddling soupy at outset, but equally information technology saturday it got better. Probably need to let it sit for 10 minutes of so after it comes out of the oven. Yum!
11/23/2009
My hubby and I loved this recipe! I didn't discover it to exist bland or soupy, but I was extra careful about what liquids I added considering of the reviews. I probably just used almost 16 tortillas, and I added blackness beans for fiber. I like the idea of adding rotel. This volition be a staple for only u.s., I'm sure, but I would definitely consider serving it to guests also.
11/13/2009
This 1 is a keeper!! I halved the recipe just in instance, but it turned out great and now I'grand making it again.
xi/08/2009
I fabricated this recipe equally written and it was a soupy [bland] mess. My young man merely gave me an eye-roll and said "this is awful". I'g besides super disappointed that I wasted a lot of expert ingredients on this grossness. Pitiful clown confront :( I'll never make this again and it's not appropriate for whatever occasion!
11/04/2009
I chose to add iii/4 cup of salsa in place of some of the craven broth and two tsp of chili powder to the recipe. It gave the recipe the
10/28/2009
my husband mistakingly bought cheddar cheese soup instead of of cream of chicken. It turned out really well. Kind of a chile rellano casserole.
10/28/2009
Married man and I enjoyed this meal fifty-fifty though I didn't take enough totrillas which made it very soupy. Has wonderful flavour. I put in two 4 ounce cans of dark-green chiles which made it hot enough for me. Left overs were bully. A definite echo.
10/xviii/2009
I halved this recipe (everything except the amounts of craven and garlic) and it's actually good. Doesn't taste soupy at all-- I taste the chiles coming through. The tortillas soften to a nice chewy layer between the flossy ones. Only other modify I made was that I sauteed the onion and garlic to soften them before calculation in the broth, soup, etc.
10/xiv/2009
I didn't similar this dish very much at all. Information technology tasted and looked like a can of soup poured over some tortillas. Banal, and grayness, and unappealing. The flavour was OK, but over again just tasted like a can of soup on a tortilla. I won't be making this once more and will likely exist tossing out the left overs. It is worthy of a two star rating considering it is easy to put together and it smelled nice in the oven. Needs a lot of tweeking to be good.
10/12/2009
Excellent!!
10/05/2009
I think that the recipe is off a fiddling in the ingredients.... I only used 12 tortillas for the 9 x 13 baking dish, three cups of craven, and 1/ii cup less shredded cheese. Too a little bland for my taste, just easily spruced upwardly with a shot of Tabasco. I made it for a potluck, and got positive comments from everyone. Skillful for a warm, comfort food meal on a chilly evening! Will make it again with a few tweaks... needs more color for eye entreatment such as diced crimson pepper/ pimentos.
x/05/2009
Splendid recipe! Made no changes to the recipe-it was delicious. Tastes smashing and easy to brand. A great dish to serve a crowd or for a small grouping with plenty of left overs. It was very creamy and total of season. I'll add some jalapeno or other spicy pepper next time to create a spicer season. This is a bang-up recipe that I volition make frequently!
09/16/2009
When I make this I never use cumin, add lots more garlic and use fresh NM chiles. Also, leftovers are adept the side by side morning time with an egg on peak!
08/31/2009
This is one of my favorite recipes from Cooking Calorie-free. I follow the recipe pretty closely with only a few changes. I don't really similar the texture of the chopped onions so I grate them into the soup mixture. As well, there are usually but ii of us and so I dissever the casserole into 2 smaller pans and freeze i. Information technology takes nigh 2 hours to bake when completely solid but notwithstanding tastes but equally delicious.
08/09/2009
This was Actually good. I've tried a recipe similar to this in the by and it turned out awful so I was skeptical just this was soo good. I would have assumed this was loaded with fatty if I had information technology at someone's house information technology was and then adept, lol. It's not time consuming similar some other people take said. I cooked the chicken in a dutch oven and pulled it when it was washed, cooked the outset 9 ingredients in the aforementioned pan and then baked it. super easy and simply one pan to launder. I added a can of rotel tomatoes, a little more chiles and an extra garlic cloves. I volition add more than craven side by side time though. Definately a keeper!
08/03/2009
Hubby and I thought this was a very good goulash. Halved the ingredients for the two of us and added a can of Rotel tomatoes. Bought cilantro and forgot to add it - would have perked it up, I'1000 sure. For garnish I topped each portion with a bit of warm salsa, dollop of sour cream and some fried tortilla strings for crunch.
04/xv/2009
This dish made information technology through two nights with no complaints!!
04/06/2009
This was GREAT! I left out the onion & garlic & put in garlic & onion powder instead. I used rotisserie chicken - a whole one. I likewise used colby jack cheese.
03/xvi/2009
We love this recipe. I've made it for large groups of people, family unit events, and simply for our table. It is always devoured and rarely has leftovers at the large events. When it's merely my husband and I- nosotros eat the leftovers for days, it reheats well. Serve with salsa, sour cream, and tortilla chips. YUM!
01/25/2009
I make this most once a year. I'd say that the only trouble is that the dish makes 12 servings and nosotros're usually a party of two! But, the leftovers practice keep for a good while and stay tasty. I suppose the other problem I have with the recipe is that you really, actually desire more than one serving.
01/01/2009
Every bit some other reader already commented, my husband said this was similar a Mexican chicken pot pie. I did add together cilantro and rotel tomatoes as others suggested and might even add another tin of tomatoes next time. A very skilful recipe.
12/02/2008
A little chip of piece of work, just SO worth it! At i reviewer's suggestions, I added a cup of chopped cilantro to the soup mixture, which made it fantastic. Side by side time, I will utilize more chicken -- I call back it could have used it -- just otherwise, everyone gobbled information technology upward. Served it with Mexican rice.
